Nalinya Lwantale Girls Secondary School successfully held its Music, Dance and Drama (MDD) Interhouse Competitions on 15th May 2026 in the school Main Hall. The colorful event brought together students, teachers, and invited guests to celebrate culture, creativity, and talent through music, dance, and drama performances.

The competitions featured four houses namely Nalinya House, Lwantale House, Bombo House, and Ndejje House. Each house showcased exceptional talent, discipline, teamwork, and creativity through a variety of traditional and contemporary performances that entertained and inspired the audience.

The event was graced by the Guest of Honor, the District Education Officer of Luwero District, Mr. Samuel Kazibwe, who commended the school administration, teachers, and students for promoting co-curricular activities alongside academic excellence. In his remarks, he encouraged students to continue participating in such activities because they help in developing confidence, teamwork, leadership, and cultural appreciation.

After a highly competitive showcase, Lwantale House emerged as the overall winner of the 2026 MDD Interhouse Competitions following their outstanding performances throughout the event. The winning house was applauded for its creativity, coordination, and energetic presentations.

The school administration congratulated all participating houses for their hard work, commitment, and sportsmanship that contributed to the success of the competitions. Appreciation was also extended to the teachers, organizers, and students who worked tirelessly to make the event memorable.
